F-15s over Roland Garros tennis tournament

Today during the tennismatches at Roland Garros (Open French Championship) at once there was a major increase of sound, quickly followed by four F-15s at the TV screens, in what looked like as if they were prepared for a missing-man formation. IIRC such happened also last year. Anyone an idea why this (IMO great break in boring tennis) happened?

Today is memorial day, several flypasts to war cementary's
I asume there is one nearby?
