Cazaux BA.120 (LFBC) - 2010 MIL

Post by Hornet69 »

Hello,

on the 31st of May Gilze-Rijen Aviation Society was welcome to visit BA.120 Cazaux :D , near Bordeaux in the south-west of France. An airbase which was still on my "to do" list. Although weather circumstances could have been better the following aircraft were photographed under a cloudy sky. More aircraft were seen but no numbers of those ones. Maybe somebody else?

Unfortunately no flying Skyhawks by the Singapore airforce.

AJetS unit:
AT03, 06, 10, 11, 13 (13 in hangar), 19, 22 (22 towed to hangar) and 24

8-MN/E167, 8-NF/E141, 8-NP/E155
120-AF/E108, 120-AK/E144, 120-FN/E116, 120-MA/E35, 120-MR/E115, 120-NL/E37
120-RE/E44, 120-RN/E124, 120-RP/E136

CEV:
E8 Alpha Jet E

Detached 150 sqn Sing.AF
950 TA4-SU (towed)

Visit:
8, 13, 17, 24, 33, 62 SEM 17F
32 Falcon 10MER 57S

Some Marine Rafale's were also to be expected but the visit was finished around 15.30 hours and no Rafale's were seen till that moment expect the one which took off around 14.00 hours of the CEV.

Grtz,

Edward.

At what time did the extra 2 etendards arrive?

Thought the Rafale 322 also had an AF code? :?

I don't have the exact time when they showed up but we saw them turning inbound when we were riding on the highway. So should be 15min after we left. That was also the reason that we were riding so slow on the highway

Rafale 322 indeed have an air force code as well (but I coulnd't read that one off unfortunately). The other Rafale, 324, was also the one that took off while we were still on the base by the way (confirmed by picture). So it didn't arrive but return while we were outside the base.
