Nimes-Garons (LFTW/FNI) - 2010 MIL

Post by mirage 69 »

Made an visit at Nimes yesterday.

Nimes 5-5-2010:

Gateguards:

5 Br.1050
31 Br.1150
87 C-47A

Dump:

50, +1 Br.1050
75 N.262E

Operational

6 ATL.2
+1 ATL.2 In hangaar
65 Emb.121 Xingu
69 Emb.121 Xingu sp color tail
79 Emb.121 Xingu

And another 2 Emb.121 Xingu’s in a hangar. An N 262E was also in a hangar and looks like it was gething an overhaul...

At the Sec.Civile I saw this:

42 CL-415 Sec.Civile
38 / F-ZBFW CL-415 Sec.Civile
F-ZBPP EC-145 Sec.Civile
1075/ F-ZBAF SA.316B Preserved on pole

Nice to see some action here, a Atl.2 departed and the 38/ F-ZBFW was doing some test flights.
Further there was a lot of civil action here.

On a visit on the 14th, only 1 gate gaurd was left. The BR-1150 no 31. The other spots were empty.

The following Br-1150NG's could be seen outside the hangars on the Aeronavale side around 18:00; 1, 13, 15. Also special coloured Atla and two normal camouflaged were parked inside the hangars.
On the civil side a Dutch DC-10 (T-255) and a French airforce tanker (C-135FR 735) could be found. Also another French tanker crossed the field at medium altitude. Probably heading towards Istres.

Did you perhaps read the two Br.1050s stored at the dispersals?

Best regards Rob.

Nope, I didn't. Could only make out the 6 Flot markings on the birds. In the log above a Nr. 50 is mentioned for one of the Alizés

Oops. The C-47 has gone to Lorient. I did not know the Alizé was moved as well... Thx.
