Taipei – Bangkok – Amsterdam / Frequency reduction extends into July 2010

19JUL10 – 25JUL10 Day 26 only
29JUL10 – 31JUL10 Day 46 only

Viking Hellas is supposed to start a new service to Erbil. These are the dates and times:

VQ796/797 5:30-07:00 SX-SMS EBL-AMS-EBL

The dates are: 19-6, 26-6, 3-7, 10-7, 17-7, 24-7, 31-7, 7-8, 14-8, 21-8, 28-8, 4-9, 11-9, 25-9, 2-10, 9-10, 16-10, 23-10, 30-10.

They expect to sign the contract this week.

So far, all flights are operated by the SX-SMS, witch is in full Viking colors.

BALTIC operated by F100 from Airline ?

According Wikipedia (I know, I know, but not everything there is rubbish) they lease one F100 from Carpatair and two from Blueline. And also a F70 from Carpatair by the way.

A new Libyan cargo operator will start july 4th with regular ops to AMS. Alajniha Cargo will operate on wed/sun with a leased MNG A300-B4F. Own equipment will follow in the coming year. Times not known yet.

Some small changes are planned to the Summer 2010 schedule commencing in September:

easyJet plans to increase the frequency of the following routes:
- LGW - From 6 September from 4x/daily to 5x/daily every Monday to Friday with a new 10.00 am departure
- BSL - From 13 September from 1x/daily to 2x/daily every Monday to Friday with a new 08.10 am departure
- STN - From 23 September from 3x/daily to 4x/daily every Monday to Friday with a new 15.30 pm departure

KLM has introduced a 4th daily High summer frequency to Marseille:
- AMS 09:45 MRS 11:45 KL 1403 EMJ
- AMS 14:55 MRS 16:55 KL 1407 EMJ
- AMS 16:35 MRS 18:35 KL 1409 F70 - NEW daily ex. Wed. High Summer only
- AMS 20:30 MRS 22:30 KL 1411 EMJ

- United will re-introduce the B767-300 daily on ORD-AMS-ORD after the peak Summer, replaces B777-200.

- Air Baltic has dropped its 3x/weekly B737 VNO-AMS-VNO afternoon operation.

Qatar Airways will start flying cargo between Amsterdam and Chicago.

It concerns the route between Doha and Schiphol. This will be extended to Chicago starting Wednesday 18th of August effective. Flights to and from "the windy city" will be on Wednesday and Saturday. The leg to the US will be flown by three B-777 Freighters of Qatar Airways Cargo.
