Dutch C-130 back at Cambridge??

Post by Thermal »

Does anyone know why Dutch C-130 G-781 is back at Marshall Aerospace?
Saw it today flying over Cranfield but I thought that Marshall only prepared them for service into the Dutch Airforce and nothing else. Or do they also service the Dutch C-130's?

This C-130 isn't delivered yet. G-988 is the one already in service.
It's at Cambridge in stead of Cranfield.

Nice shot, Marshall performs all maintenance on the RNLAF C-130's and as far as I can remember the G-781 hasn't been deliverd to 336sqn yet so likely the final testwork, testflights take place prior to a hand-over in the near future ??

Hurricane.

Sorry, my bad, it was indeed Cambridge ofcourse (also went to Cranfield today so that's the reason of the typo  )

OK thanks for the update. I thought it was already in service. Will also post it on the Photo forum, maybe someone will find it usefull then.
