It is sad there will be no Polish/Serbian/Bulgarian/Ukraine MiG-29. ;) Cannot get enough MiG-29. :worship:

Does anyone know why there was no invitation for Russia this year? Or did the response in last years show they are not interested? Just wondering....

And for the Su-27, any information about participation: static / dynamic ?

Russia hadn't invited to Kecskemét Airshow 2010, because the organisers of the airshow can't discuss with them their participation because they have to ask lot of money for a participation with 1 fighter. So the organisers aren't be able to pay this huge money to them to their participation... and they thought that they don't want try it in this year once again, because it needless. The RIAT and/or ILA and similar big airshows are able to pay this money for a russian participation, but in Hungary the situation is different... :|
...But we must note that one of a russian fighter's flight at 1 time for only 10-15 minutes is a very expensive thing , so we don't have to be angry on Russian Air Force. :roll:


By the way: in next month the repulonap.hu will publishing a list about the participants, and in that list we will see what will be dynamic and what will be static. So we just must be patient. :? :? ...maybe the last week(s) of July... :? :?

India: Cancelled :( :(
Luxemburg: E-3 Sentry AWACS will be Dynamic!!
German Typhoon is Static
Italy: + AMX
Spain: Shorted list
Slovakia: MiG-29 will be Dynamic indeed!!
Slovenia: +PC-9M
Sweden: Gripen... again... :S
USA: Shorted list
Great-Britan: Total cancelled...

AWACS dynamic display? This will probably be no more than one or two fly pasts during a patrol. It is very likely now there will be no E-3 in the static at Kecskemét...

Anyone know whether the Spanish still have a Mirage F1 flying display :?:

It will be interesting to see whether the listed Ukrainian jets will actually turn up.

Even better - especially if it will be in special color scheme.
Shame about Sweden - I was hoping to see Draken...

Still we don't know any information about Mirage F1. In the next 2 weeks will we get that list, what show us that, what will be dynamic or static... But we have any chance to a dynamic display from Mirage F1...:)

Some good news from the updated list (it seems the English version has not been updated yet):

- AWACS dynamic display
- Italians to bring and AMX
- Sweden confirmed aircraft type - Gripen (what a surprise :D )
- Slovakian Fulcrum's dynamic display confirmed

To all,

I'm new to this forum and was looking at attending this air show. When I look at the air show website I cannot find an area that tells me how to get to the air show. I plan on taking the train from Budapest to Kecskemet and then I'm told a bus is the way to go. Are there special buses just for the air show??

Thanks to anyone that can provide any details.

Yes, there are special buses, they depart from right in front of the station and drop you off at the gate, no stops inbetween.

I have very good news Guys!!

The spanish Mirage F1 will be dynamic and the Spanish Air Force will participate with a dynamic F-18 Display too!! :lol: :lol: :D :mrgreen:
