Correct, because AA has only 60 M2000N. Of these, 40 aircraft were upgraded to K3 standard. EC01.091 (St Dizier with the Rafale F3B) will become fully operational this year and this will see the distbandment of two N squadrons. From 2011 (onwards) EC02.004 will operate the Mirage 2000N (~20-25 examples) from Istres untill the last M2000N will be replaced by the Rafale F3B (~2018). This will only leave the Mirage 2000DA (around 70 examples) operational after 2020.

Could you elaborate on this? Will the F.1's return to Reims or will they end up at Chateaudun immediately? And will the "deux milles" come from Cambrai or from storage?

Hi Frank,

The three Mirage 2000 RDI arrived N'Djamena last saturday, two are from Cambrai and one from Orange.

They will replace the four Mirage F1CR from Reims, departing on the 17th of june. These aircraft will still be deployed in Afghanistan. Anyway, this is quite the end of the "F1" as ER 1/33 Belfort will be disbanded at the end of this month, and ER 2/33 Savoie will move to Mt-de-Marsan in 2011 and will be the last Adla squadron operating the type.

Tintin,

Any details on the s/n of the 3 Mirage 2000 at N'Djamena?

Picture on the AdlA website shows one of them to be "124" of EC02.012. See:
