3 of the above where in overhaul in the maintenance hangar. The others were in the operational hangars.
All wfu gliders were in the same hangar as the operational ones along the walls. PL54 Ka.8B (to become OO-YTD) and PL55 Ka.8B (to become OO-YDT) where still there. Last year the were already reported as being sold, but nothing happened with them. No Pipers were seen.

Next week summerholidays start again in Belgium so next week the summercamps start with flying all day. I was also informed that the Luchtkadetten no longer use Florennes, so Bertrix, Goetsenhoven en Weelde are the places left.

How about spotting at this base......maybe I'll drive by next weekend after the show in Bevekom.....

Yesterday it was a normal working day. The gate was open so I took my luck and entered and drove up to the hangar. There I asked if it was OK to have a look inside and this was no problem. I could walk around unguided and was escorted to the next hangar because it was locked. So no problem at all.
