spent a few hours at Nörvenich last week in order to complete my personal good-bye to the Tornados of my former home-wing, here are the results, with the highlight comprising a three ship formation of two Tornados (incl. the special coloured one) plus the only flying Eurofighter of the Wing. The other based Eurofighter, 30+23 is reported to be unservicable due to problems with the ejection seat, which can not be resolved due to lack of money ...
). Former JaboG 31 Eurofighters 31+16 and 31+14 are reported to have been transfered to Laage and Neuburg respectively ...
As last week was the last flying week of based Tornados at Nörvenich, it might become rather calm there for the rest of the year or so ...
