Ljubljana-Brnik (LJLJ) 2010 CIV

Post by Optimus »

Friday, 9-7-2010:

Noted upon arrival were the following:
EI-DOD A320 MyAir stored? parked at the Adria hangar?
ST-NVC CRJ-200 Nova Airlines a/w. Undergoing maintenance with Adria as an engine was missing?
VQ-BEV CRJ-200 a/w, n/t.
TF-BBH B734 BlueBird
HB-AFP ATR72 Farnair
YU-AFF DC-6 Adria Airways preserved outside the terminal
S5-BAM Saab340 Bridges (Solinair) read off during approach in the early evening.

Former Austrian CRJ's OE-LCN/LCP/LCQ were stored on the western corner of the apron, while 4 others were in various stages of storage/dismantling at the Adria Airways hangar. These aircraft remained unidentified, as well as a white French registered Embraer 120, which seemed to be operational as it was parked elsewhere on Sunday. Others noted on approach during Friday were an EasyJet A319, a Turkish B73G, a Vueling A320 and a TNT BAe146.

Sunday, 11-7-2010:
Noted during the departure to Brussels were the following:
S5-ADE CL-300
S5-BAJ Ce525
OH-LKM Emb190 Finnair
S5-AAO CRJ-900 Adria Airways JP394 LJLJ-EBBR

The Saab340 from Friday was also still in, while the freight apron was empty this evening. Apart from maybe one or two Canadairs, the whole fleet of Adria seemed to be in between 5-7pm.

The airport is very enjoyable, but not busy. Except during the evening-rush when all passengers for aircraft parked on the remote stands are cramped in a rather small waiting area (and add a failing aircon plus delayed flights due to bad weather over Austria). This will probably shortly be solved as they are expanding the airport.
