From 2 August Turkish Airlines will transfer the daily Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen - AMS flights to AnadoluJet, offering lower fares. Next to ESB-AMS-ESB this will be the second Anadolujet destination from Amsterdam.
The last TK A320 flight on this route will operate on 1 August.
China Southern announces new B777-200F cargo flights to Amsterdam.
China Southern Airlines is launching two new cargo routes this July 2010, following receipt of two more Boeing 777-200F's from Boeing.
On 23-24 July China Southers plans to put the two brand new B777-200Fs into operation on a new thrice-weekly Shanghai Pudong-Vienna-Amsterdam route and a four-times-weekly Guangzhou-Amsterdam routing. This is in addition to the existing services to/from Shanghai.
A final B777-200F will be delivered at the end of August.
JAL Cargo confirms Sep 2010 Reduction in Operations:
From September 2010 JAL CARGO will commence the announced service reductions and route suspensions as it prepares to end its dedicated B747 cargo service from 31OCT10.
JAL CARGO will end B747 service to Amsterdam Schiphol on 01OCT2010.
China's Jade Cargo plans 3x/weekly B747-400ERF flights from Chicago to Amsterdam
Following CX and SQ, Jade Cargo (JI) now also plans to introduce Round-the-World B747 Freighter flights on a Shanghai-Yantai-Anchorage-Chicago-Amsterdam-Shanghai routing three times a week starting 20 September.
The Shenzhen-based carrier - 49% owned by Lufthansa - has applied to the US Government for permission to operate scheduled cargo flights from China to the USA and beyond.
With the start of QATAR B777F operations on 18 August 2010 on AMS-ORD-AMS, we will see CX, SQ, JI, UA, KL plus Qatar operate service between ORD-AMS from September onwards.
Pakistan International Airlines schedule change from 12 October 2010 onwards. The airline will discontinue its weekly 777 flights, the last will operate on 6 October 2010. A new schedule will commence with two flights operated on Tuesday's and Friday's. It seems a bit odd to me, but the flights are bookable on their website. The new schedule is as follows and will continue during the winter timetable:
PK737/738 16:45-18:00 ISB-FRA-AMS-LHE - Tuesdays from 12 October
PK761/762 13:20-14:50 ISB-IST-AMS-IST-ISB - Tuesdays and Fridays as usual
