Yep, we decided to postpone the Texel Airshow with another year to 28-7-2012. It's to tricky fur us to plan such a big event, without any guarantees that the De Kooy is available for fixed wing aircraft at the end of July 2011. The plan is to start the renovation of the runway in March/April for a period of 3 to 4 months. But... when there is a delay, we have a major problem.
We want no worries, that's why we made this decision.

Wat duidelijker aanduiding van de periode:

Renovatie start- en landingsbaan van Maritiem Vliegkamp de Kooy/Den Helder Airport

Op 7 maart a.s. wordt begonnen met de baanrenovatie. Vanaf deze datum is er geen fixed-wing verkeer meer mogelijk.

Het veld blijft uitsluitend beschikbaar voor helikopterverkeer.

De start- en landingsbaan is na 1 juli 2011 weer open voor al het vliegverkeer.
