Well it looks like that the sales didn't went like the guys from SGV hoped...

Looks like some visitors were buying tickets from the SGV section without being a member from SGV. I think they are sorting things out and perhaps the sale will commence further once they did... So people have a bit of patience perhaps it will be sorted soon.

Was on Holiday for 6 days , went to book through the website ,it takes u all the way and then 'bang' , '' sold-out '' ! Having attended Tiger Meets since the early 80's and seen how they have become more popular in the spotter world coupled with todays digital technology and considering the KLU sent observers to KB last year was it realistic to only provide 750 tickets for each day  ?

I wanted to go to to the lowlands festival and all tickets were sold out within a few days.... I had to live with that!
SGV, Keep up the good work! :respect:

Be glad they will allow spotters on base at all. And for the fact you can't get on the base, just your bad luck, live with it. But look on the bright side, in the Netherlands it is also allowed to spot military aircraft from outside the base.

Wow... Discussion is really fierce about what should be a fun thing! 750 tickets a day is a lot, but it may not be enough. That's just life. If there had been 2500 tickets, people would still miss out. Fact is that SGV did a good job securing two spotter's days for 750 individuals each. And they only had a short timespan to do it.

Hello

Does anyone knows were we stay on the airfield, at the same place as on a regular airshow or between the two runways. I hope the last option.

From what i heard, both runways will be used for landings and take off. The smaller runway will mainly be used by the Dutch F-16s while the main runway will be used by the other participants.

Having the parallel runway is a landing and take off runway (during the spottersday of the airshow it is used as taxi and static lane) means the distance between the public and the parallel runway has to be larger. This means there is a larger distance to the parallel runway and so to the main runway.

So you are at the same side of the airfield but the distance to both runways will be larger.
