Probably these 3 shelters are in the green corridor? In following link you can see the part of CNA that remains property of the Mod. Clearly you can see the green corridor http://wikimapia.org/#lat=52.1221462&lo ... 16&l=0&m=b

At CNA the Gouvernment will increase the number of buildings. Therefore some shelters and buildings have to be distroyed. Also a green corridor will connect the "ecoducts" at the A28 and on the northside of the airbase. The former F15 Shelters will remain on the base.
Because of the green corridor CNA will splitt in two sections.
I will visit CNA next week. If I have any news I will let it know

On CNA the ZULU shelter will remain and several older shelters will stay too.

shocking is the fact that the memorial hunter which was standing next to the warmemorial is at CNA and waiting for a scrapp job!! Also a F84 is there in the enginetest shelter. Both will be scrapped! Why I don't know.

cheers

Oh no, no more scrapjobs...I read in the Gilze forum last week that 3 ex-KLu F-104's arrived from Volkel at Gilze by lorry, also to be scrapped. What the heck is going on, they're whiping out our heritage... :?: :?:

With the open days tomorrow and Sunday, can somebody tell me where building A91 (the engine test building) is? I would like to get this Streak before it is scrapped.....
Many thanks in advance!

Ik weet dat je (niet teveel) in het verleden moet leven maar de sloop van het voormalige Hush house van de Wolfhounds op Soesterberg doet toch pijn.

Not true, the F84 is dropped of at the Museum Area.
Has been moved by some people with historic feelings from MoD working at CNA.

Well, it is a public footpath/bicycle lane across the runway. Enter at corner Montgomeryweg/Batenburgweg or at the vWeerden Poelmanweg. Everyone can go there.

They are bringing down shelters A407 up to A413.
And it seems they let the remains of the Hushhouse standing right up.
(The part with the Wolfhounds-credo, 21-12-2010)

Furthermore, it seems they will also bring down A33.
