Forest Fire near Nimes France 30-08-2010

On our way to the beach by car, during my family holiday in Southern France, a forest fire passed by.
Of course I had to stop to see what would happen.
And sure something happened.
Soon I was in the center of the fire extinguishing activities.
As an aviationphotographer I hoped for Canadairs.

The following pictures are unedited and are a small representation of the hour spent amidst the fire and smoke

Very dramatic report, you can almost here the trumpets of the cavalery arriving.

On our way to the beach by car, during my family holiday in Southern France, a forest fire passed by.
