EWAS reports that the first wave will depart at 0900LT. And since the drops are at 0930LT and 1130LT, my guess is the second 'mission' will depart Eindhoven at around 1100LT.

Present at this time are:
1x RAF Dakota
3x USAFE C-130J-30 'RS'
1x Lw C.160D
1x RAF Hercules still expected to arrive in the early morning of the 18th

Have fun in the (hopefully...) sun! 8)

I just whitnessed an RAF Hercules C.5 land at runway 22 as 'RRR 5818' (0700LT). Parking is Military West. So, we're all set for the planned activities later on this morning! 8)

Edit: my apologies, it's a Hercules C.1 (or C.1P if that designation still officially exists). Tailnumber is XV295. I didn't see any smoke from the engines, and it had so many modern-looking strobelights, I though it was a C.5-model  Credit: EWAS.

'RFR 7006' is doing some checkups and will then depart at 0850LT. This is probably RAF Dakota ZA947.
Edit: confirm Dakota ZA947.

'Herman', 'GAF 597' and 'Herky 91' are all on the move. 'Herman' is the RAF Herc.
Edit: 'Herky 91' is a flight of three.

All aircraft back on deck again at this time.

And 'RFR 7006' already starting up for its second mission this morning.

I was out for groceries, sorry for my late reply:

1. Second wave is currently returning to Eindhoven. 'RFR 7006' and 'GAF 597' already on deck again.

2. If you mean the F-16 on the westerly military apron: this is F-16A J-235. This is an instructional airframe that normally resides inside the old 334 Sqn hangars. These hangars were emptied to accomodate the large number of para's for Market Garden.

08-8605/RS
07-8608/RS
06-8611/RS

According to EWAS the three RS-Hercs are expected to leave tomorrow, although no ETD is reported.
