Port visit Laem Chabang,Thailand (USS George Washington)

Arriving for a 3 to 4 day visit at this port 100km south east of Bangkok at 09.00 on Saturday 02nd October was the CVN-73/USS George Washington with CVW-5(code NF) embarked,

Apart from the EA-6B and E-2C,the bureau numbers are as per their departure from Atsugi in May 2010.There are unlikely to be any changes and their arrival at Atsugi in a few weeks will be checked to confirm the bureau number/modexes are still as per listed.

The 2 C-2A from VRC-30 Det 5 are at U-Tapao.

This carrier departed Laem Chabang on the 7th October and operated in the Gulf of Siam for the remainder of the day.The following day,the 2 C-2A returned from U-Tapao,by which time the carrier was hundreds of miles away from Laem Chabang.
