Thanks Wijgert,

Too bad the T-6s remain unknown to us.
The E-3 on the south side should be 83-0008 (the one that had the nosegear up landing some tme ago).
Did you als went to Alto Ave (east of N Hollywood blvd)? Than we missed eachother by 20 minutes....

Cheers,

Nellis AFB September 11th 2010:
91-0420 F-16C 148 FW/179 FS (MN ANG)
This is an omission from my side, I wrongly looked this serial up. After seen several Nellis photo's from the same periode, I came to the conclusion that the 84-1220 from Duluth (148 FW/179 FS - MN ANG) was regularly seen here. So this must be the one.
@Melchior, please correct this within your log.

Hi,

Two questions, if that might be asked here

Does anybody know if there are (still) tours on base that are possible to attend?
Do they fly during weekends at Nellis (normally and / or during Red Flag)?

Thanks!

Tour on the base?? i think that's only for press during Red Flags.......

Weekends? yes! when we arrived on sundayevening 21 February we noticed that they where flying and 2 F-16's returned from mission at 21.30h local!!

keep in mind that Nellis is the world superbase....... :^8D^:

Hi,

I did a tour in '99. But this was a Thunderbirds-tour. Went to the hangar of the t-birds, not on the flightline.

I agree with George, there are only acceptions, when you have a press-ID. The so called media-days.

Red Flag days are running from monday till friday. Normally for about two weeks.
