While 'working' for Fencecheck forums we recently received a request by Public Affairs to inform photographers that its restricted to shoot pictures from the gate and other infrastructure. Photographing the gate causes large security concerns at El Centro (and other military installations) and could end in no acces anymore to the so called Aten road landings as well.

I know that the static display park is about near the main gate please refrain from shooting them without permission. More than one photographer has been seen and was questioned for doing it.

Please spread the word so that this wonderful airbase remains accessable for photographers like it used to be. If you still have that desire to shoot the static aircraft display please contact Public Affairs before doing so. It will be appreciated.

4x MH-60S which did not fly,one was coded 74,a second was from HCS-3 and the other 2 had red crosses like Army medivac UH-60s.

Codes B-324 and 327 arrived around 08.15.
Codes B-285,293 and 319 flew as CD51A-C
Codes B-217,289,315 and 316 flew as CD61A-D

These were a total of 21 Goshawks on the field split between the flight line and the sun shelters.9x F/A-18C were also seen in the sun shelters,but these did not fly and were closed up.
