the Heli was 71+75 UH1D Luftwaffe from LTG63 Hohn.
...and the missed AWACS was LX-N90447
Also there was Swedish Airforce 100001, Saab OS-100.

do you also happen to know what KC-135 arrived at around 15.45 local time on Tuesday, October 19? I saw it when travelling on the Autobahn A61 towards Venlo but could only make out that it did not carry a "pizza" on top and it was not smoking, so I assume it was a KC...

To Frank Kramer : The only one I can think of for GKE is 64-14839 KC-135R IL ANG as ESSO75, cause started the mission rather late that day ( around 10.30LT ).
But not a 100% at all !

Noted around 18:30 this evening was a SAC/NATO C-17 (looks like a night stop over) and the two Illinois ANG KC-135.
