Good afternoon,

While on familly holiday some limited spotting was practised last August in Sweden & Norway.
helicopter results being:

Monday 09-08-2010
Sweden, along road E45 west of Malung
LN-OCW Aérospatiale AS350B Ecureuil
This helicopter was busy with forestry flying, and tried (at least it looked like) to land on our car !
Lets say as being the cardriver I was a bit distracted...............

Sweden, Siljansnäs airfield
This tiny airfield is beautiffully located on the south shore of the Siljan lake, in central Sweden.
By accident Friday the 13th (lucky day, in case !) late afternoon a local newspaper revealed the yearly
"Scandinavian light & homebuild aircradt fly-inn" was about to be held at Siljansnäs, just being a mere
25km from our holiday resort. But as also the Söderhamn museum was planned for this Saturday, it
turned out to be a long but fruitfull day of spotting ! Helicopters logged this day at Siljansnäs:
SE-JJV Robinson R44 Clipper II Copter Flug (bordeaux-rd cs, with titles)

The Robinson was used for pleasure flight.

Sweden, Funäsdalen heliport
This brand-new heliport (built 2008) is loacted some 150 SW of Ostersund.
The hangar (large windows !) is easy accessible and along the main road east of the village
Funäsdalen, close to the Norwegian border. Unlucky time pressure a.k.a. bored children prevented
close inspection..........
