During nightflying at EHGR this evening, a new DHC callsign could be noted:

OVERLORD

I think this is a callsign used specifically for exercises (in this case the HWIC Recovery exercise near Budel), I have heard it several times before during exercises. I believe Overlord is something like a 'supervisor' of the exercise..

I think so but this time OVERLORD was a helicopter with 4 pob....
