On Wednesday 15th December,a T-34C 2 seat turboprop trainer airplane from the Air Force Academy at Kangshan was destroyed in a crash near Liukuei township in Kaosiung County.Both crew were sadly killed in this crash.
The crash airplane had taken off from Kangshang at 13.08(05.08 UTC) and was reported as disappearing from radar at 14.02(06.02 UTC).
The 2 dead crew have been identified as,instructer Niu Peng-Yu(49) and pilot Liu Che-Hung(27).
