About 200 people had to be removed from the museum as a precaution.

Since noon, visitors are turned away. "A roof area is more affected than others. Some wooden beams of the roof are broken, "said Mr. Hanson.

"Three or four planes are threatened and will be moved."

Because of the thaw, large blocks of snow slide on the slopes of the roof and fall of the ledge. The police have been dispatched, along with firefighters, who are these blocks of snow fall.

"The museum is closed until further notice," lamented the director general.

"The authority of the buildings come on Thursday plans to see the damage to begin repair.

We certainly hope to reopen as soon as possible because the holiday season is synonymous with large number, mainly families and grandparents bring their grandchildren, "he concludes.

I understand the situation, but I seriously hope they will do something about the building. It looks like it could really use some restoration. Was there a couple of weeks ago and the aircraft are covered in pieces of paint, fallen from the ceiling.

But yes, a "grand scale renovation" of the main Aviation Hall has been overdue for years... :(
