Zie oud voorbeeld: PRIO 1 6894 VLIEGBASIS GILZE RIJEN RIJKSWEG 121 RIJEN STAND BY CALL (scenario: 0) contact GMK

Heren,

The question that has not been answered yet and that is key to me is the following :

What landed on monday 17th around 15.00 on rwy 28 ?

We are told that it is not a spanish falcon. Fine. I can live with it because I am not certain either about the type (first thing I wrote in my report). But I witnessed a white aircraft (falcon like) landing. What is it then ?

Luamax, wrote " Nothing extraordinary landed at Gilze monday 17-01-2011. I do not have the ability to see if an aircraft made an approach though.". Could you share then with us which ordinary/regular aircraft(s) landed around the aforementioned time slot ? Perhaps something would come real close to what I observed ...

If you pull all your strings, leverage all your connections, all the people you know and the answer is : nothing, absolutely no aircraft landed at the aforementioned time ... then I am afraid that either we are not told the truth ...classified ... or we are not talking to the right people (which I tend to think is not the case).

Just curious: what exact frequencies were you scanning at the time?

As I feel some of you have not pulled out early conclusions yet and still want to know the truth, I will answer them :
- I saw the aircraft approaching from the east aligned on rwy 28 all lights on.
- it was not a low pass because I saw it 'touching-landing' the runway.
- I could see only part of the runway where I was standing (far end east of the slope fence).
- I would not know what it did after it went out of sight ... for the simple reason that I went far end west of the slope fence to catch the Apache.
- my scanner is tuned on EHGR freq. published on http://www.milscan.nl/Europe/Netherlands.html (plus some found of this forum) and has been working fine since I bought it.
- I knew the aircraft was coming on rwy 28 because I heard air traffic control mentioning it on the scanner. That's why I started to look at in this direction and spotted it.

Thanks for helping. I appreciate.

PS : if we end up in a dead end street, no worry, hope you had as much fun as I had speculating and searching.

Maybe I'm reaching here, but is for example 122.100 MHz (AM) programmed in your scanner, 257.800, 362.300, etc?

Checked again today, including the approaches. I checked around 15.00 in local and Zulu time, and the only fixed wing that made an approach at that time was a RNLAF PC-7. Other then that is was just the usual: Apaches, Alouettes and Chinooks.
