Identity of F-84F at Savigny les Beaune

Last year I photographed a wrecked/preserved Belgian F-84F at Savigny les Beaune with clearly visible AF serial: 53-6824 on the front fuselage, beneath the canopy. It is the F-84F wich is burned at the lower part and referred to by many as FU21.
This AF serial belongs to F-84F FU159, sofar as i know FU159 is never seen at Savigny les Beaune. FU159 was once a decoy at Bierset with fake serial BA66.

Can somebody tell me more about the present state/whereabouts of FU159 or how the FU21 is identified at Savigny les Beaune.

Me too photographed this frame at Beaune last year. I must admit that I noticed the serial only after reading your remark above. Since this aircraft is cut in two halves perhaps the other half belongs to FU-21?

As we speak, this very aircraft (with visible USAF serial 53-6824 and with vaguely "MiG-22" painted on the front right hand side under the canopy) has been brought to a spot reachable by truck (next to the earthen wall close to Noratlas "151"), together with a set of wings and a vertical tail unit of FR-34. Would be interesting to see where it will end up!
