Depending if a squadron is on deployment activity can be busy to very busy. Usually two or three waves a day are flown with either F-15C's from the resident 493 FS or F-15E's from the 492 and 494 FS. Expect 8-12 Eagles per wave. But maybe more, sometimnes less. It *is* miltary aviation, so nothing is set in stone.

The parkingplace is a good starting point, but lighting conditions are not favourable except in the late afternoon/evening. For morning-midday you can drive from the offical spot towards the main road, turn right in the direction of the main gate and when you pas the landing lights, there's a small layby on the left side of the road. This enables great views of landing planes. Be adviced, if you cross the main road here to stand right next to the fence of the base, you'll run a chance of being sent away by USAF security forces. They don't like people loitering next to the fence. So stay on the *other* side of the road and you'll have no trouble at all..

Have fun!
