Hey Dhruv,

Thanks for the nice updates. As all Tejas were single seaters they were KH2011 to KH2015.

On Thursday the 10th of February I managed to reach the far side of the airfield with lots of nice extras. This is the full log of what could be seen there:

Flightline (logged as if viewed from the static area from right to left)::

Mi-8 Z2386 Z2404 Z2384
Alouette 3 Z1411
HJT-16 Kiran (13 in total): U2507 U2510 U2464 U2471 U2487 U2520 U2469 U2481 U2491 U2480 U2470 U2484 plus U2471 which was sometimes in hangar 2 (see below)
Dhruv IA1143/43
Tejan LCA KC2004 KH2005
JAS39D 39829/829
JAS39C 39265/265
Su-30MKI SB141 SB131

Behind the flightline was an operational platform with:

An32 K2699 K3074
BAe 748 H-1176
Do-228 HM-700

Hangar 1 (closest to the main road):

Mi-8 Z2363 operational

Hangar 2 (the middle one):

Mi-8 Z2401 Z2355 both WFU or stored
Kiran U2472

Hangar 3:

Mi-8 Z2391 Z23580
Mi-8 Z.... (hull only, no marks on nose)
Do-228 HM-704

Further beyond the operational An-32s were two MEDEVAC Mi-8 on standby:

Mi-8 Z2836 Z2369 (not visible from static area)

Between the hangars/buildings and the above 2 Hips were another 4 stored/dumped:

Mi-8 Z2398 Z2162 Z1374 Z2342 dumped/stored/wfu (not visible from static area)

Stored behind and in between the hangars were:

An-32 K2752 K2671
Do-228 HM-698
An-32 K2700
Do-228 HM-676
BAe-748 H-1524
Mi-8 Z2356 Z2352

Be very careful if you walk around those 4 stored HIPs - I had a close encounter with a Cobra there, and it was not an AH-1!!!

Cheers,

Erik

Final update, the four Dhruvs from the air force demo team were J4046 J4049 J4042 J4043

They operated from another airfield (as did the 3 army Dhruvs and Lama).

I also had to travel to Pune where there were many SU30 types, an IL76 & 748's only able to see on touchdown, no opportunity to hunt them down.

Hola Dhruv,

Yes both FA-18s are correct. In fact 166790 only carried "135" on the wednesday with no other markings at all. Yet on Thursday it carried "NJ-135" and full squadron markings...

Another visitor for the 10th was HS-748 H-2180.This departed before the navy DO-228 arrived.

The C-17A arrived on the 7th calling Trek 11.
