6x F/A-18D of VMFA(AW)-242 departed to Iwakuni today at the conclusion of Exercise Cobra Gold 11,they were re-fuelled by an unidentified KC-10A from the 305th AMW put of U-Tapao.Serials,

6 jets calling Feud 61-66 departed here to Japan(Kadena?) on the 22nd Feb.These are likely to have been AV-8Bs.Tanker support was KC-10A 84-0185 RCH095 out of U-Tapao.

Exercise Cope Tiger 2011 is due to take place next week, lasting until March 25th. A lot of the exercise areas are located near Korat (spelled without 'h' according to official Thai documentation). Does anyone have an idea what will be flying out of Korat during this exercise?

Should be around 25 Singapore airplanes,plus the F/A-18Ds above from Khorat plus others.Also fast jets from each/most RTAF squadrons.
