Japan Spotting

Goodafternoon all, can anyone help me with some websites providing good information on spotting in Japan? I'm looking for info regarding spotting locations (I'm a photographer), affordable hotels, flight information (both for spotting and travelling between cities), food and drink suppliers for the day. Can you help me out here?

Plenty of convienience shops like 7-Eleven,Family Mart,etc to buy food and drink.

Most bases are easy to photograph at.

A car with GPS would be a good idea,other than that,a JR rail pass provides affordable travel options and many bases are near rail stations.
