EFA78, I have the distinct feeling that you are a bit hard to please. :roll:

Now, you've been shown where to stand while photographing, you don't have to drive all around the air base searching for a good spot.

Is it that difficult to find out the PRECISE local conditions when you arrive? You won't be the only spotter waiting for aircraft in the approach, so just "go with the flow" and follow other spotters' actions... :idea:
