Abandoned airfields: Binbrook

Inspired by the beautiful scans of Fred Martin ,I went to the attic to search for my Binbrook slides. I've seen a lot of Binbrook and other Lightnings on this board , but only a few on beautiful taxi track there. Here are some from 81.

May I add some other pics from abandoned Airfields

But first a Lightning, Binbrook in the opposit way

Waddington, not really abandoned, but there is no much flying these days

Alconbury early 80's

Upper Heyford also in the early 80's

Bentwaters on a very early morning in 1979. More than 50 Phantoms were launched around seven in the morning

Church Fenton, is this field closed?

Not in the UK, but abondoned aswell. RAF Wildenrath
