AMSTERDAM - Een toestel van luchtvaartmaatschappij Southern Air blokkeert sinds maandagochtend 07.00 uur de Polderbaan bij Schiphol.

Does anybody have more information about the fire at Schiphol this afternoon around 1730LT? There was quite a huge smoke cloud. I thought it was at the Juliet-apron.

EDIT: never mind, I just read there was a truck on fire on the A4 highway.

Incident: KLM Cityhopper F70 at Amsterdam on Apr 14th 2011, fuel leak indication

A KLM Cityhopper Fokker 70, registration PH-KZF performing flight WA-1726/KL-1726 from Brussels (Belgium) to Amsterdam (Netherlands),
was on approach to Amsterdam's runway 18R descending through 8000 feet about 20nm southwest of Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport when the crew declared PAN reporting they had a fuel leak indication.

The airplane was then vectored for runway 22 and finally landed safely on runway 27 with emergency services on stand by about 10 minutes after their PAN call.

Onder het mom van beter laat dan nooit toch nog even nagetrokken. Betrof een Fokker van de KLM op het Bravo platform die een indicatie had van rook uit een van de motoren. Was verder goed afgelopen.

Vandaag heeft een A319 van Easyjet een tussenlanding gemaakt op Schiphol vanwege een agressieve Brit.
Het toestel, de G-EZBA was onderweg van Krakow naar Edinburgh.

Incident: KLM Cityhopper F70 near Amsterdam on May 26th 2011, bleed air problem

A KLM Cityhopper Fokker 70, registration PH-WXA performing flight WA-1477/KL-1477 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Glasgow,SC (UK), was enroute at FL340 about 180nm northwest of Amsterdam when the crew decided to return to Amsterdam indicating they had a bleed air problem. The airplane landed safely on Amsterdam's runway 18R about 75 minutes after departure.

A replacement Fokker 70 registration PH-KZO reached Glasgow with a delay of 2.5 hours.
