Could you be more specific Marcus, where did you find those "strange" serials?
I might help if you provide some more details like location and source....

Cheers.

Sure, no problem!

I found them in the wheelbay under the wings (hope you understand what I mean )

If it helps you, beside them were also a cont. nr. written.

A14-423 could be former 159482 which we have in our DB as c/n 14423, the others seem strange in sequence.

Hi Melchior,

thank you!

Like I thought, it is a difficult problem ;-)

The constr. nr. are even more "strange" ...

They were all mentioned except under the wings, also in the forward wheelbay in exact the same way. So, I suppose they are really the serial nr. of the planes.
Or maybe, special nr. for each customer? In this case Argentina (A) and the last digits of the original serial nr.? Does this match any known nr.?

Regards

Marcus

Marcus,

The others could be:
A7-2743: 148550 12743 which was last noted at AMARG 1990
A7-294: 145048 12294 never noted before
A7-313: 139948 11313 never noted before

So still not certain what identity they have. Where did you see them?

Cheers,

According to the United States Air Forces Directory 2010/11 of MAch III the following two are

A7-294: 145048 12294 never noted before (A-4D-2, w/o 13-02-61 with VMA-224)
A7-313: 139948 11313 never noted before (A-4D-1, w/o 14-10-59 with VA-112)

First, a big thank´s to all for your precious help.

Unfortunately, the whole matter is getting more and more difficult instead of easier

I read this serial nrs. (together with the construction nrs.) last week in Santa Romana!

So, I really don´t know what do think now of this numbers.

Greetings

Marcus
