News: MDHI MD-902 D-HBWG crashed on 10/05/2011

MDHI MD902 D-HBWG c/n (900-00099) of Polizei Baden-Württemberg crashed into a wooded area at Engelsbrand, 7kms SSW of Pforzheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The MD-902 helicopter was searching for a missed old (77 years) woman using infrared camera and crashed in an wooden aerea for unknow reasons. (suggested is that the helo hit a tree) The accident occured at 21:30 local time. All three on board seriously injured: the 3 occupants got serious injuries and have been transported to hospital. The old woman was located in fair conditions near to the place of the accident.

Op 10 mei is om 21:30 uur de MDHI MD902 D-HBWG c/n (900-00099) van Polizei Baden-Württemberg gecrashed bij Engelsbrand in het Zwartewoud. De helikopter is w/o. De 3 inzittenden zijn gewond naar het ziekenhuis gebracht.

Saw footage of the wreckage on (German) TV.
Reg looked like D-HBWG to me!
