Russkiye Vityazi themself do not know about a display in Izmir, no more I can tell you. But we shall see in 2 weeks.

Then, they are not confirmed yet....
There were also rumours about Russian Knights...and so on....

I only posted a list of what is fully confirmed and shown on the official website.

I know its hard to beat the 2001 airshow. But back then the fly-by was with only 10 F-4s, 10 F-5s and 10 F-16s.
I'm sorry, but prefer the fly-bys like planned this year.... 15 trainers!!! Looks good to me....

I'm really looking forward to it...

Rob , you are right about the quality of the flyby, but for our photographers, it will be more interresting if they land or taxi along , and so operate from Cigli itself.

Maybe you should wait till after the show, before you judge? Rather strange statement: 1) to compare a list of expected aircraft to a show report 2) to compare a show of 2011 to a show of 2001. 3) to want to compare in the first place, because every show has it's own highlights which are uncomparable.

You don't know that!! I personally think there will be more Turkish stuff than stated on the website. Visitors, medical, support. Just wait and see!!
But don't judge before the event is over.
