Here the report of my stay in and around Kiev a few weeks ago. I only present the data that I read myself. The pics you can find on http://forum.scramble.nl/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=73963. All additions or questions are welcome. And can someone tell me (again) how to activate the tabs ??? (its not "pre" or "table" or "list" I found out....).
5-5-11 Kiev-Zulhany
We landed late at night and we passed some a/c during taxi. There were many more a/c here and most of them I read later.

Just outside of town the is a small helistrip on the way to the reactor. The c/n is painted on the boom and its serial is painted over. It seems this c/n is somewhere else according to the database. Only the first two digits are a bit vage. Anyone for the right c/n?

The Mi.24 is parked a bit further north then the other a/c. The Li.2 has a code but I forgot to read it (sunday hangover....). I tried to check the c/n on the MiG.21 and MiG.17 but there is nothing to see in the wheelbays.

Two of the three civil Kamovs have no serial. For EMOOS (and myself) I tried to find c/n's in the Tu.22's but was unsuccesfull. Also the Mi.26, with the flight simulator interior, has no c/n visible. The MiG.19 I could not reach.
In the northwest there were a few stored/dumped aircraft doing some sunbathing;

Anyone for the USAF An.2? 70yw I read in the nosedoor but on the fuselage it has painted the same c/n as 72yw.....

After being kicked off from Chaika I took a few buses to Zulhany and walked 7 kilometers around the field. The only good spot in the north to read some of the factory (storage) is in one of the factory buildings surrounding it.
From one point you can see a dump but I was only able to read one Antonov;

This morning I spend an hour at Borispol. Its a very relaxed place and taking pictures was no problem. Only civil stuff was flying. In the distance I saw 3 stored Mi.8's and 5 white Antonovs. One of them was an An.30. In the dispersals there where more camoflaged Antonovs and two Tu.134's.
