New Eruption in Iceland

The Icelandic volcano Grimsvotn erupted last night, and the debris plume has been reported as being upto 50,000ft.
The London VAAC has already put out a volcanic ash concentration chart (See here), and although the winds seem to keep it away from Europe, it's highly likely that Icelands main airports will have to close.

Will be very interesting to see how this develops.

According the models, the scottish FIR could come in the danger zone. Tomorrow or later this week.
