Karadzic indeed landed at Rotterdam, while Milosovic did land at Eindhoven.

Both times they used police helicopters to transport him to Scheveningen.

Are you sure about that? I thought at the time Milosovic came Valkenburg was still open (and until closure this has always acted as the airfield for Yugos, under the treaty that established the tribunal at The Hague).

Mladic laat nog even op zich wachten en misschien nog wel langer, want hij kan nog in beroep tegen zijn uitlevering.

Geschiedenis: Milosevic kwam per Italiaanse 707 naar Valkenburg en Karadicz ging naar een KLu-veld en daarna per heli verder naar Scheveningen. Dat laatste was vooral (dacht ik) om de massaal toegestroomde pers op Valkenburg te ontlopen. Verder waren in die tijd de MC-130s en C-9s maandelijks op VB te gast. Na de sluiting van het veld zijn er niet veel verdachten meer afgeleverd.
