Hi All,
Some photo’s taken from what now seems to be for me an annual visit to Finland . I spent the week travelling to just about all four corners of the country to visit several airbases both inside and out, as well as one or two other locations too. Weather for the week was all over the place but this is a selection of what I came up with, with a handful of shots from Tiger Meet Cambrai tagged on the end a bit randomly…..
A lengthy post as usual but thanks for looking anyway….

One of the reasons I keep visiting Finland is its relaxed and quite way everyone goes about their life, not to mention the light nights and millions of lakes!

With the Air Force not being very busy flying wise at times, we visited a few other places of intrest when they popped up on route, with Pori Technical College being one of those with its collection of ex-Finnish AF types and excellent hospitality.

Kauhava - HavLLv 41 Training Air Wing
Home of all of the Finnish Air Forces Bae Hawks, the location of Kauhava makes it a handy stopover on the long, long drive up North to Rovaneimi….

Halli - Aircraft and Weapon Systems Training Wing
The test wing of Halli always throws up a few nice surprises, sharing the site with the Patria aircraft assembly factory. On this occasion, two pre delivery NH-90’s and an ex-Swiss Hawk, all on their way to Finnish air force service…..
