Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

50 Jahre JG74 - s/c Eurofighter

Post by Flying_Wings »

Today JG74 at Neuburg celebrated its 50th anniversary and they presented their new 'flagship', a special coloured Eurofighter.
Good news is that the tail is painted and said to stay on the aircraft for at least one year :worship:

Unfortunately the weather was really cold and gray during the whole day, but at least that made up for some nice afterburner photos.

Yes weather was not top for the 50th anniversary of JG-74 at Zell-Neuburg, but there was a Jubileumsmaschine:

Until recent, I was not very fond of the Eufi, but since I've had the plane before my camera several times, I somehow fell in love with it.
It's too bad that the Dutch government is not taking this plane in consideration rather then the JSF.
Many European countries are already flying it and that gives exchange in experiences and facilities an advantage.

Despite the dark weather, there are some nice shots. Especially the take-off with the AB's and the slightly panned landing shots.
