Next visit after Hullavington was Upavon. The barrier was kindly opened remotely (or by sensor) when I approached. When the first military person was seen near the hangars directions were asked to the 622 VGS. They were now located on the middle of the airfield. I think this is due to the fact that the large hangars are being worked on. The base of 622 VGS consisted of a number of sea containers, portacabins and a few Air Cadets trailers. No one was seen and everything was locked up except one of the trailers:
