Seen today in the hangar of 621 and 625 VGS were the following Viking TX.1:
ZE561/WJ,ZE557/WE,ZE604/XD,ZE613/XM,ZE679/YP were on the left in the hangar belonging to 621 VGS
ZE495/VA,ZE522/VL,ZE526/VN,ZE560/WH,ZE625/XP,ZE653/YE were in the right and belonged to 625 VGS
In the middle was Viking ZE606/XF of 622 VGS (Upavon) which was on loan. ZE679 was taken apart to be made ready for a transport to be overhauled.
No flying whatsoever as the weather was horrible with strong winds and loads of rain.
Next to the operational military stuff a lot of historic gliders were present with the 621 Vintage Glider Group:
Grasshopper TX.1 WZ828
Prefect TX.1 WE992
Cadet TX.3 XA310
Swallow TX.1 XS651
All of these are still regularly flown by students.
