"The quote when I asked if she could do a flypast at Manchester Aviation Fair on the way home from Yeovilton was that she will stay at Yeovilton and then go to Fairford."

Hope this is true because with all the Hunters, Gladiator, BBMF etc etc it would be a nice addition to all the other elderly aircraft there - For a significant part of the show you could be forgiven for thinking you were at a 1960's air show!!!

No B-52 or B-1 Flying this year because the B-52 is in a upgrade program and the B-1 has other commitments. Only a B-52 on static

As was announced way back at airtattoo.com, the US will participate with 18 aircraft. Up till now 17 are confirmed at the participants, leaving just one not officially known (basic maths). Don't be surprised if that one will turn out to be a spare for the A-10.

According to a FRIAT source on UKAR the following additions are to be expected:
Jet Provost Mk3
Jet Provost Mk5
Strikemaster
Gloster E28
Meteor (x2)
Vampire + Venom
Bulldog
Dragon Rapide
Chipmunk
P3 Flyers (x5)
Chinook HC3
Griffin
Tornado
Herc (Italian)
2nd Herc (Saudi)
MB 339 (x2)

These should be support, so they will most probably not be at the showdays.
