Footpath at RAF Brize Norton closed for repairs

For anyone who plans to visit RAF Brize Norton this month, this might be useful. The public footpath at the 08 end will be closed for repairs, and done in stages. These signs are already in place in various positions along the path:

After the departure day at Fairford we did visit Brize. I was just looking at my pictures and I see a tail of a desert camo C-130.
Looks like a Jordanian one. Can some tell me if this was the one that departed at Fairford (345) or is it an other one?

Yes, It was the Jordanian AF C-130 serial 345

Some Scramble members may not be aware, but the first Repatriation will take place at Brize Norton tomorrow afternoon 08/09/11. Personally, I would advise against spotting at Brize tomorrow.
