during a few hours waiting for my flight to leave, I saw the following on the military aprons on 18-07 in the evening:
801 AN26 Romanian AF 808 AN26 Romanian AF 809 AN26 Romanian AF 810 AN26 Romanian AF 1104 AN30 Romanian AF 2702 C27J Romanian AF 5927 C130 Romanian AF 6150 C130 Romanian AF 6166 C130 Romanian AF 6191 C130 Romanian AF ZZ175 C17 RAFAnother C-27 and An-26 could not be identified due to heat waves. The same goes for a whole lot of Puma's.
On sunday morning (17-07) there seemed to be some kind of aerial parade with 3 Puma's in formation, 1 EC135/145? and 2 Hips in formation, 1 C-27 and 3 IAR-99's in formation and finaly 3 Lancers in formation flying over the Palace of Parliament.
The Military Museum in town has quite a nice collection of aircraft (around 10) ranging from Coanda's "jet" to an IAR 93. It's well worth a visit, not in the least because of the enourmous amount of weaponry, uniforms, etc. from the beginning of time until present day.
All in all, quite some nice military stuff for a non military spotter like myself
