I assume that if these guys show up, they won't bring their F-27 but use a RS C-130 instead...?

Are the French mirage 2000 static or flying?

Also is thursday 15th a joint practise/arrival day like Riat?

It'll be my first Sanicole airshow and i want to combine it with the Open Dagen on the 17th and a visit to Wittmund for some F-4's the monday. Trying to get the best out of both shows  any help is much appreciated

Regards,
Dirk.

The French Mirage 2000 must be flying as Sanicole only has a short-ish grass strip. :!:
Most participants will be using Kleine Brogel Air Base.

Are you guessing this or is this a fact? There are numerous similarities between the show at Leeuwarden and Sanicole. So, many participants could be operating from Leeuwarden as well I guess...

In some cases you may indeed be right.
But of course everything that needs a hardened runway of reasonable length will not be using the Sanicole strip.
Participants mentioned for Sanicole but not for Leeuwarden:
-Czech JAS 39 Gripen
-L-159 Alca
-Mirage 2000 duo fly-by (hmm, they could do this from France as well I guess)
-Belgian C-130 Tactical demo

Several lighter fixed-wing aircraft (and helicopters of course :!: ) mentioned at
http://www.sanicole.com/nederlands/inde ... &Itemid=60 will probably be able to operate from Sanicole without much difficulty.

Big chance, that participants for the friday edition might fly from Leeuwarden.
That is if they fly a show at Leeuwarden on Saturday.
Otherwise it is very likely, they will depart Leeuwarden on Friday after their performance, or after the show on Saturday / Sunday.
Keep in mind Sanicole is on the 16th and 18th only, Leeuwarden 16th and 17th.
