Hello All!
Last week I made a trip with some friends to visit the Sziget festival in Hungary.
So it wasn't a aviation related holiday, so therefore be informed: NO shots from outside the airport or plane.
But of course I made some snaps during the flights to get there, and I'd like to share those with you .
Now I'm not going to bore you with endless gate shots at AMS, just one of my bird arriving at the gate!
#1. Austrian B737-700 OE-LNN for the AMS-VIE (OS374) leg.
#2. Overview of Schiphol after a 24 departure.
#3. Wingview somewhere over Germany.
I really enjoyed my flight with Austrian. The service was good and the comfort of the seats is nice.
As the connection was good, the flight cheap and the Sziget festival is popular among Dutch people,
both the AMS-VIE and the VIE-BUD sector were packed with Dutch passengers (and that is a thing you can hear during the flight !).
After a transfer time of about 1.5 hrs we were allowed into the next bird,
A F-70 of Austrian Arrows, OE-LFP for the VIE-BUD (OS717) sector. The flight was bumpy, as it was raining hard in VIE,
but very nice to fly that good old Fokker again !
#4. The clouds faded away as we approached BUD, allowing me to take this shot of Budapest by night!
#5.
I really enjoyed my time in Budapest, the city is beautiful (worth going there!) and the festival was great!
#6. On the return trip I travelled via the new Sky Court terminal, it's beautiful!
#7.
#8. Always nice to see KLM at another airport than Schiphol!
#9. Malév just had to agree with the remote stand...
Then it was time to fly again, a Lufthansa A320, D-AIPP, for the BUD-MUC (LH2312) sector was planned.
#10. After departure we turned over Budapest giving this lovely view!
#11. The very friendly crew allowed me to take a shot of the flight deck, even though the busses were waiting to depart!
#12. Nice A346 at MUC!
The last flight was on a Embrear 195, D-AEME, of Augsburg Airways, for the MUC-AMS (LH1681) Sector.
I also really enjoyed my flight with Augsburg airways, the ERJ-195 is a nice plane to fly,
with big windows and comfortable seats!
#13. Flight deck of the ERJ-195.
#14. Approaching the Polderbaan!
That's it! I hope you enjoyed my photos and report
As always comments and tips are more than welcome!
Kind Regards,
Olmo Müller
