A visit to this port yeilded the following from the shore,* other than the E-2Cs,the Bu numbers were not checked, but are current to when CVW5 deployed from Japan on 12th June.Any changes since then are highly unlikely.
At least 2 other Seahawks on deck remained unidentified.
Also seen below deck was a SH-60F coded TA-704 from HSL-51 ' Warlords',the last known helicopter with that modex was 162341,but this was inducted into AMARG in March 2011.
The 2 VRC-30 Det 5 E-2C are parked at U-Tapao.These are 162159 (NF)-22 and 162166 (NF)-31.
All in all,not a bad morning.Excellent to see all 11 new F/A-18E from VFA-195 were available for viewing.

There were probably around 4 F/A-18s on the top deck that cound not be read from the dockside. The other side is inaccessable and you were too close! and low too read those ones from the dock side. There were at least 2 SH-60s on top that were also not read.
All the deck doors were open and no unidentified airplanes were seen below deck during my visit.Last year 7 F/A-18s could be seen below deck.
