Museum of Aviation getting a Global Hawk

The Museum of Aviation is expecting an important delivery next week.

A C-5 is expected to bring a recently retired RQ-4 Global Hawk, a large unmanned aircraft, to be put on display at the museum.

While still a relatively new aircraft, the Global Hawk is being heavily used in combat operations.

The aircraft the museum is getting has flown a fleet-high 357 combat sorties for a total of 7,074 hours, said museum spokesman Bob Dubiel.

It was part of the original Block 10 Global Hawks, and the Air Force recently decided to retire those in favor of the newer Block 20 and Block 30 Global Hawks.

The aircraft will arrive partially disassembled. After undergoing reassembly and restoration, it will be placed in the Century of Flight Hangar, suspended from the ceiling.

The Global Hawk has become a significant part military operations, performing surveillance and reconnaissance missions in combat areas.

Looks to me that this concerns the Museum of Aviation at Robins Air Force Base

Not surprised to see them in a Museum already.
Recently NASA received three more unidentified RQ-4's (making the total fleet 5 RQ-4's) as the USAF retired them.
Seems to be early production models

Robins AFB is located in Houston county, Georgia......
